I broke my wrist in May, was moved to Mr Gella,s care after manipulation in A&E. After 2 weeks in a back slab, I was xrayed and it was decided I needed surgery. I had surgery 2 days later. Every member of the team where so polite, friendly, courteous. From nurses to the anesthetic team and especially Mr Gella, who explained everything clearly. My last appointment with him, he showed me my xray and gave me exercises to do and explained everything. What a great team and a wonderful man.

Very good doctor. Made me feel comfortable. Also explained well before my surgery. During my follow-up appointments, listened & explained about the issues/questions I had about deformity in my arm/wrist bones. And assured to come back anytime I feel the need, If I had an issue/s in future.

Mr Gella performed reverse shoulder replacement surgery in May. I can’t thank this man enough. He does let you make your own decisions & assures you that you can change your mind at anytime. Which what I did. He is a kind, reassuring gentleman with a wonderful approach. I’m now recovering, thanks to his expertise, of which he is very humble. His team are also the best which does include his secretary Lisa. Thank you Mr Gella. You did everything for me that you said you would do. I broke my shoulder falling on the ice. Mr Gella was kind and caring. He operated to mend my humerus, inserting a plate. My recovery has been very successful and with physio I am back to doing all the activities I previously enjoyed. I am 76 and I felt that Mr Gella looked at me as a person rather than considering my age.
